Perte auditive et vieillissement: le handicap «invisible»
La perte auditive causée par le vieillissement (presbyacousie) est la 3e cause d’incapacité chez les aînés, après l’arthrite et l’hypertension. Les liens entre le manque de stimulation causée par la perte auditive et l’apparition de symptômes précoces de démence sont de plus en plus reconnus.
