IR-CUSM: Un antidépresseur pour ralentir la progression de la COVID-19?
Des chercheurs de l’Institut de recherche du Centre universitaire de santé McGill lancent le volet canadien d’un essai clinique afin d’évaluer si la fluvoxamine, un médicament principalement utilisé pour le traitement de la dépression et des troubles obsessionnels compulsifs, pourrait se révéler efficace pour ralentir la progression de la COVID-19. -
Le bamlanivimab réduirait le risque de contracter une forme symptomatique de la COVID-19
L’anticorps neutralisant bamlavinimab pourrait réduire jusqu’à 80 % le risque de contracter la COVID-19 symptomatique, selon un nouvel essai clinique mené auprès de résidents et du personnel d’établissements de soins longue durée.
